Best of 2017
Emotions move beyond words. And sometimes it's best not to try to speak them. Moments in time are sometimes best remembered in images. Something to bring you back to a time where things were simply felt without effort. I was honoured to spend last year immersed in passing and grandiose moments of beauty, faces, joy, and magic.
Here is a series of some of my favourite moments of 2017. Moments that expressed something more than words. Thank you.
Aly & Brad // Toronto Wedding Photography
Aly and Brad's wedding was a beautiful, intimate, and fun wedding at George Restaurant in Toronto. The venue was cozy and filled with family and joy. There was a gorgeous tapestry of white, rose gold, silver, and blush covering the scenery. These two were absolutely adorable and were inseparable the whole time. Here's to you, Aly and Brad!
Anna & Salvatore // Toronto Wedding Session Featured on Mr. Theodore
I'm honoured to share that my recent Toronto Wedding session with the gorgeous couple, Anna & Salvatore was featured in the beloved Australian wedding site, Mr. Theodore. It was a beautiful wedding that took place in a fermenting cellar in the heart of Toronto because it reminded the couple of "untouched Italy".
Their venue was transformed into an elegant spectacle filled with warm candlelight, harvest tables, and white floral arrangements that created a bright light of their own. This rustic and refined wedding was a stunning celebration combining Anna & Salvatore's two loves: each other, and Italy, a place close to their hearts.
JJ & Sean // Longshot Farms Wedding Photography Session
Home is where love exists. For JJ and Sean, they shared their home with their friends and family at their beautiful outdoor wedding on their farm, Longshot Farm in Hamilton, ON.
From the early morning hours to the late evening celebrations, this was a beautiful day filled with care, love, and joy.
Surrounded by bright vibrant colours and, their heartfelt ceremony was officiated by a close friend. Their son was there among their family and friends to witness their incredible love. Keeping everything close to home, all of the details were personalized for the wonderful couple.
The reception was out in the open air with lawn games with ...
Niagara-on-the-Lake Engagement Session Featured on Vineyard Bride
I’m honoured and flattered to have my recent Niagara-on-the-Lake engagement photo session featured on Vineyard Bride’s blog today. My session with the charming couple, Tania and Lorenzo was a beautiful one. I spent time with them during the early morning as the sun rose and captured their time spent together in one of their favourite places to spend time on the weekends.

Jessica & Christopher // Toronto Engagement Photo Session
“Home is where the heart is” couldn’t be more accurate with the newly-engaged Jessica and Christopher. They’ve not only made a home for themselves nestled in the east side of Toronto by the Beaches but in the comfort of each other. And if I could distill our engagement photo session together in one word, it would be laughter. These two lovely souls have so much chemistry with each other; they couldn’t stop laughing, which in turn, made me laugh along with them — their joy was infectious.
I love at-home sessions with couples because it catches and documents people in their most comfortable state. It allows a more intimate lens into their re ...
Cassandra & Joe // Destination Engagement Shoot – Sorrento, Italy
There’s a special magic that happens at sunrise. In the waking light of day, the morning can bring a sense of optimism, renewal, and a beginning of a new chapter. I spent time with the beautiful couple, Cassandra and Joe for their destination engagement shoot in the picturesque landscape of Sorrento, Italy.
Cassandra and Joe are from Toronto but ventured out of the city to the serene waters of the Bay of Naples. It was wonderful to walk with these lovely souls in the early morning hours. We got to see the charming hillside town come to life as the sun warmed it up.
For Cassandra and Joe, this perfect sunrise is only the first one for t ...
Emily & Rory // Toronto Wedding Photography
The love between Emily and Rory is something you would read about in a romance novel. They just have this way of communicating that is so special-Rory is always looking out for Emily to make sure she's safe. Their fierce loyalty towards each other and their strong bonds with family made this day a warm and fuzzy one.
Emily and Rory held their ceremony and celebration in the east end of Toronto at Fantasy Farm, just across the road from the Todmorden Mills Heritage site.
Kristina & Bryan // Toronto Wedding Photography
There’s something so romantic about a rustic winter wedding, isn’t there? Soft falling snow, the warmth and coziness of the indoors, lush florals on a bright white canvas…
Kristina and Bryan decided to marry on a crisp February morning and celebrate with family with a classy, yet laid-back lunch reception. Hors d'ouvres and drinks were served while a classic band crooned. It all came together beautifully for K&B, with their love to keep them warm.

Diana & Paul // Aruba Wedding Photography
What’s more fun than getting married once? Getting married twice!
Diana and Paul were first married in Toronto, but decided to celebrate their love in Aruba in a smaller second celebration, later that week.
Both sides of this pair don’t love being the centre of attention, but once they got together, they forgot about everyone else while loving each other and laughing the day away. Set on a backdrop of ocean pastels and desert gardens, the Rui Palace Aruba was perfect for a sweet ceremony on the beach and a fun party that lasted well into the night - half the wedding party even ended up in the pool!
